Self-Reflection
In this semester we practiced and
exercised in many different things such as making CV to our career, meeting
with a manager for a job and group meeting discussing a problem and finding
solution and finally the presentation. However, in this essay will mention
everything we learned in detail.
At the beginning we learned how to make
our CV attracted the attention of the companies and how to organize the
information to make it easy to read then after we finished the CV we wrote a
cover letter and requesting a meeting with the company. After that, we started
the practice with each other week before the meeting then we applied what we
learned with the teacher. However, the most challenge thing that I faced in
this semester was the group meeting. To illustrate, we picked a topic about
what we will talk about in the meeting then we started practicing until the day
before the meeting Mr. Gregory said to us “I will give you guys I random topic
and you are gone to talk about it, the meeting shouldn’t be prepared before it”
we faced a problem at the beginning we didn’t know how to start so we went on
to talk then the ideas came and we felt the real pleasure of the real meeting.
At the end, Mr. Gregory gave us the final report including presentation; the report
was writing a 2000 word about a topic in our major and presents it in front of
the class.
To sum up, during this semester I really
enjoyed and learned a lot about team working and I learned how to break the
fear and doubts of speaking in front of audience also I believe this skills will
help me in my life career in the future.
